Tennessee Southern Discovery

Tennessee Southern Discovery Spring Rally 2019 April 12-14

We will be offering over 200 miles of Guided Routes, and over 300 miles of Self-Guided Routes of Middle Tennessee Dual Sport Riding at its best. Our Tracks take you into very remote public access dirt roads and curvy paved roads. Self-Guided, and Guided slots will be available. We have a relaxed Group for the Riders that want to ride at a slower pace, and a women’s group that rides medium fast. We also have a amazing Super Adventure Guided Route for Adventure Bikes, and Dual Sports. It offers over 35 creek crossings depending on the water level.

Guided Dual-Sport Riders will also have the option to try our mile and a half stretch of hill Climbs. There will also be a night ride Friday night.
Tennessee Dual Sport will do everything in their power to accommodate you, no matter if you ride a Big Bike or a Dual Sport Bike, you will benefit to the fullest on our routes.

Gas and Lunch:
There will be one lunch stop, and two gas stops on Saturday, and one gas/lunch stop on Sunday. All our gas stops are no further than 65 Mile intervals. We recommend that you bring some gas to have at the campsite just Incase. There are plenty of gas stations, and a Walmart in Hohenwald. It’s about six miles from Fall Hollow Resort.

Team Leaders:
This is what separates us from most events. We have 12 dedicated team leaders that are very well trained. We also ride our new routes numerous times together so that we can refine them to be the best possible route you can ride. A lot of thought, time, and planning goes into this process. All Team Leaders are instructed to communicate with each rider at every break to insure everyone is in their comfort zone. All Team Leaders are mechanically inclined, we will do all we can do to get you back on the road if you have a flat or a minor breakdown. If you have a catastrophic breakdown, we’re just going to have to drop a pin and come back and get you in a truck after the ride is over unless you can make other arrangements.

Guided:
Guided groups will have a leader and a sweeper in each group. Guided Groups are the only ones with option to ride the side Trails and Hill Climbs. You will have 5-6 groups to choose from, depending on your bike size and skill set. GPS is not required. Group Assignments will be all day Friday. We will be honored to answer any questions you might have during this process.

Self-Guided:
Self guided riders will receive around 300 miles our best GPS Files available, along with a Super Adventure Route that is amazing. About 35% of our attendees were Self guided Riders at our past Events. you will not have a problem joining a group. lots of Self Guided riders ride the Southern Discovery Sunday route on Friday Because they want to head back home on Sunday. The Sunday route is about 80 miles, and takes about 5 hrs to complete. Some of the Dual Sport Guided riders like to ride the Super Adventure Route on Friday as well, so they can experience over 35 creek crossings in one day. This route is about 145 miles and requires most of the day to complete. Self guided slots really work out well with all the options to choose from.
