Blue Ridge Adventure Ride 2019: KTM AMA National Adventure Riding Series
The start location is five mIles from the Blue Ridge Parkway, and 8 miles from Grandfather Mt, the highest mountain east of the Mississippi River! Elevation at Pineola is 3800'.
There are five routes to choose from. One is 90% dirt, three are 50/50% dirt & blacktop, and most of the blacktop is rural and super twisty. One route is 90% blacktop, (again SUPER twisty) with a 12 mile single lane dirt road. All routes have big elevation changes from 1200' to 5000'.
A great ride for all bikes from 250's to 1290's & good for all skill levels with some 2 track technical rd's for the a riders & bypasses for the less skilled. All routes start and return to our host , the Pineola Inn and campground, RV's & tents. The Inn is very nice & clean with reasonable rates. KLIM apparel is our sponsor this year.
